State Diploma in Nursing Aid

Caregivers ensure the hygiene and comfort of patients. They also help dependent people with all day-to-day tasks, at home or in nursing homes. They can work in hospitals, nursing homes or at home.

Modalities

Prerequisites

• Hold a BAC PRO SAPAT or ASSP (partial course)

Duration

• 511 hours of training for BAC PRO SAPAT graduates
• 371 hours of training for BAC PRO ASSP graduates

Alternance

Holders of the BAC PRO SAPAT:
6-week course followed by a 3-day course / 2-day work placement

Holders of the BAC PRO ASSP :
3 weeks of classes followed by 3 days of classes / 2 days at the company

SCHEDULE

• Training starts at the end of August

Admission requirements

• Each candidate registers at ONLY ONE institute in Loire-Atlantique
• Selection tests are based on a portfolio and an interview.
• Deadline for receipt of applications: June 10, 2023
• Training accessible to people with disabilities
• Possibility of adapting course according to profile

Exemption from selection tests for candidates who have obtained partial validation of the DEAS via VAE, for hospital service agents and service agents with one year's seniority (full-time equivalent).
