State Diploma in Nursing Aid
Caregivers ensure the hygiene and comfort of patients. They also help dependent people with all day-to-day tasks, at home or in nursing homes. They can work in hospitals, nursing homes or at home.

Modalities
Prerequisites
- For apprenticeship contracts: between 17 and 29 years of age
- Contrat de professionnalisation (professional training contract): 29 years of age and over
- None as an employee under the continuing professional training scheme
Duration and alternation
- Alternating periods at the training center and on the employer's premises
- A minimum of 18 weeks at the training center and 34 weeks on site per year (including 5 weeks paid vacation) + 14 to 22 weeks of internships over 1 year to 18 months (depending on partial or full course).
SCHEDULE
- Training starts in late August (partial course) or early January (full course)
- Possibility of signing an apprenticeship contract up to 3 months before or after the start of training
